Virtua Fighter 4′s upgrade “Evolution” featured several additions, not to mention a completely new soundtrack. Fumio Ito created most of the songs here, who continued to stray from the original tunes, this time with upbeat alternative rock. (not unlike many old game franchises around this time).
I can really enjoy this type of music (like the first 2 below), but too much of it doesn’t excite me a whole lot. There’s a lot of repeating heavy guitar riffs, but that might be right up your alley.
